What is the difference between the Power Laptop and the Pivot Laptop?

The Power Laptop is your basic traditional laptop as opposed to the Pivot that has a rotating touch screen.

What is the difference between Pivot Laptop and the Pivot HR Laptop?

Only difference is the resolution of the screen. The Pivot HR is brighter and has a higher resolution.

Does the Pivot/Power/Pivot HR come with an internal CD/DVD-ROM drive?

No, none of our laptops come with internal CD/DVD-ROM drive to maintain child protection. It is up to the discretion of the parent to purchase an external CD/DVD-ROM drive either through our site or at any local tech department store.

Do the laptops come with Wi-Fi?

Yes, all of our laptops come with Wi-Fi.

Can my child access the Internet from their Pivot/Power Laptops?

Yes, they can access the internet, and all the computers come with PeeWee Patrol and PeeWee Privacy, which allows you to monitor your child’s internet usage and safety.

How do I install CD’s onto the Pivot/Power Laptop?

You will have to purchase an external CD-ROM drives available on our site. You could also purchase any universal external CD-ROM drive at any tech department store.

Will the Power/Pivot Laptop support all games and software including speech recognition programs?

Yes.

How durable is the Pivot Laptop?

The Pivot PC is an Intel-powered Classmate PC, which features durable, drop and spill resistant construction with a sturdy plastic case and a removable carrying handle to withstand demanding everyday use.

What software is included in each PeeWee Laptop?

All of our laptops come pre-installed with 15 educational games from our PeeWee KITs. KITs can also be purchased separately from our site.

What is the difference between the Basic and the Advanced Desktop?

The Basic desktop does not come with an internal DVDRW.

Do Desktops come with speakers?

No, our Desktops alone do not come with internal/external speakers, but the monitors we sell on our site do.

Does the price of the desktop include a monitor?

No, only because the computer is compatible to any monitor.

Do Desktops come with Wi-Fi?

No, none of our desktops come with Wi-Fi, you would have to purchase the adapter separately which runs from $15-$30 on average at any retail store. There is no technical installation; they sell them as simple USB adapters.

Software

What OS is the software compatible with?

The additional software we provide online is compatible with any Windows operating system. Be advised that the software is not compatible with our Edubuntu OS.

Are the PeeWee KITs compatible with the PeeWee Panel?

Yes, they are fully compatible.

What are the main differences between PeeWee KITs and PeeWee Panel?

PeeWee Panel allows you to switch from Child’s Security Desktop Mode to your own Parent Desktop mode. Password protected. PeeWee KITs come with 5 different games and also with their Security Suite for online and offline safety (PeeWee Privacy and PeeWee Patrol).

Does your EReader software have audio capabilities so that the child can hear the book as he reads?

Yes, the EReader software does come with audio capabilities.

How can I modify/edit my PeeWee Panel profiles?

Simply hold Control-Alt-P click on Settings then click in Profile. There you will be able to remove any profiles that you may no longer want. You can also check/uncheck programs accordingly.

Can you install the PeeWee Panels to different computers when you purchase one Panel?

No. When you purchase a PeeWee Panel you are purchasing the license, which is meant to be used specifically for one computer.

How do I calculate tax for a purchase?

You will not be taxed when you purchase our computers/products online.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, at an extra shipping rate. This rate is determined on your purchase’s weight and location.

Is there a location where I can see these products in person?

No, we do not have any storefronts; we are only available via the web. If you are not satisfied with the product you have a 14-day money back guarantee trial period. You will be responsible for the shipping, as it is final.

Do you sell your products via other web sites like Amazon or Ebay?

We do not sell PeeWee PC anywhere other than our official site.

How long will it take for me to receive my PC?

There is a 48-hour processing period, after processing the shipment it takes 3-5 business days. If shipping to California it would take 1-2 business days.
